Call for Conservation at St. Aloysius University

At Adavi Alert Foundation, we are committed to raising conservation awareness and actively engaging with society. In July 2024, we hosted a talk titled "Call for Conservation" at St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), reaching an audience of 500 students. This session focused on educating attendees about the current conservation efforts undertaken by the government, forest departments, and NGOs, highlighting the ongoing nature of these initiatives.

The event was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis, Vice Chancellor of the institution, who expressed his support for our endeavors. During the session, we discussed the motivations behind the creation of the "Snakes of Mysore" book and its benefits to the people of India. Utilizing impactful videos and photos, we illustrated the severe consequences of snake bites, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject.

We are proud to announce that, on the same day, Adavi Alert Foundation entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the institution, facilitated by n Kiran Vati K, Assistant Professor, department of Zoology. at St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University).

The event lasted four hours, and the students expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to engage with topics they had never experienced before. We emphasized the importance of individual contributions and responsibility in conservation efforts, encouraging everyone to join hands to make a difference.
