Addressing Karnataka's Wildlife Challenges
Adavi Alert Foundation (AAF) conducted an insightful session on forest conservation, human-animal conflicts, human-elephant conflicts (HEC), and snake conservation at the College of Forestry, Sirsi (University of Agricultural Sciences). The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Vasudeva R, Dean of the college, Dr. Shridhar Bhatt, Assistant Professor in Wildlife, along with faculty members and students.
The session highlighted real-world experiences and challenges from Karnataka’s forests. Pavan Joshi, Founder and Conservationist at AAF, delivered an impactful talk, joined by Suman K.B., AAF’s Conservation Education Coordinator. Together, they inspired participants with their stories and expertise, encouraging deeper engagement in conservation efforts.
