Finding Solutions for Human-Wildlife Sustainability

On February 15, 2025, Adavi Alert Foundation had the privilege of being one of the three judges at Engenious 2025, an ideathon hosted by PES University, Bangalore, dedicated to tackling real-world challenges through innovation. Witnessing students present their unique perspectives and creative solutions for human-elephant conflict and broader human-wildlife interactions was truly inspiring. Their depth of thought and commitment was a pleasant surprise, reinforcing the next generation’s dedication to sustainable conservation efforts.

A heartfelt thanks to Namita Achyuthan, Thanishk Narayanan, Vivek M, and the entire team who initiated this impactful event. Platforms like these not only foster awareness but also open doors for NGOs like us to identify and collaborate with passionate students. By integrating their technical expertise and fresh perspectives, we can further enhance our ongoing projects and drive meaningful conservation efforts.

Suman KB and Tarun Y represented Adavi Alert Foundation at the event, engaging with participants and sharing insights on wildlife conservation.

We extend our gratitude to PES University, Bangalore, for organizing this event and to all the collaborators—Manonandana, Rashtrotthana Blood Bank & Thalassemia Clinic, and Let’s Live Together—for championing diverse social causes. We look forward to seeing these ideas evolve into actionable solutions for a more harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife.
