Snakes of Mysore Book Launch 2024

Snakes of Mysore was a carefully crafted project aimed at raising awareness about snake conservation and addressing the issue of snakebites in a controlled, informed way. The success of this project was made possible by the dedication of Varsha Sudarshan Ananda, Shashank Shakunthala, Sathvik Iyengar, Dr. Bhavya J., Sadhana R., Anupam Thombre, Harsha Kaveripura, Shantanu S. Kakade, Shammi N., and Surya Keerthi. Each of these individuals played a crucial role in shaping the book, working tirelessly every day to see the vision come to life.

The official launch of Snakes of Mysore took place at Kalamandira in Mysore on June 29, 2024, in the presence of Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Member of the Lok Sabha. The book was dedicated to the late Snake Shyam (Mr. M.S. Balasubramanyam), fondly remembered as the "Snake Man of Mysore."

We also extend our deepest thanks to Akshay N. and his team for volunteering during the event and ensuring it was a success. Additionally, the incredible team at In My Head Productions created a one-of-a-kind video for the project, which was also unveiled during the launch.
