Project Plan for current year:
The project "Protecting the Lives of Life Savers" by the Adavi Alert Foundation (AAF) stems from a deep understanding of the critical need for supporting forest front line staff who protect the wildlife conservation in India. Our country is blessed with diverse ecosystems and is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including endangered species like the Asian elephant, tiger, and leopard etc. However, rapid urbanization, habitat destruction, poaching, and human-animal conflicts pose significant threats to the survival of these precious wildlife populations. The two ranges selected are located in highly sensitive areas with challenging terrains throughout all seasons, making them crucial for anti-poaching and man-animal conflict management activities.
Provide access to clean drinking water The staff at various Anti-Poaching Camps have little or no access to clean drinking water especially during the critical fire season of the summer months in the lesser known forest ranges of Gundre and N. Begur of Bandipur Tiger Reserve. We seek funds to establish a solar RO water filtration plant along with a ring well with a fitted Motor Pump. We aim to implement this project by February 2024 before the onset of the fire season. Establishing an AAF Resource Hub to Safeguard Wildlife and Forest Frontline Staff The primary purpose of the AAF Resource Hub is to provide unwavering support to the forest frontline staff who are at the forefront of battling Man-Animal conflicts. By equipping them with the necessary tools, resources, and infrastructure, we aim to enhance their effectiveness and effectiveness in protecting wildlife and maintaining the harmony between humans and animals. The impact of the AAF Resource Hub will be far-reaching and transformative. With quicker access to essential inventories and improved coordination, our frontline staff will be better equipped to respond swiftly to conflicts, thus minimizing potential damage to both humans and animals. Additionally, this endeavor will foster a deeper connection between local communities and conservation efforts, promoting sustainable practices that benefit all stakeholders. The AAF Resource Hub will be strategically located in the heart of the buffer area of Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, Karnataka, India. To realize this vital project, we are actively seeking funds and support from like-minded individuals, organizations, and businesses. Our comprehensive proposal outlines the importance and urgency of this initiative, and we are exploring various fundraising strategies to secure the necessary resources. We invite all wildlife enthusiasts, conservationists, and philanthropists to join hands in making this vision a reality. Your support, whether through donations or spreading awareness, will be instrumental in safeguarding our wildlife and empowering our forest frontline staff.
