Amidst the tranquil backdrop of Himavada Gopalswamy Betta, within the heart of the Tiger Reserve, I was blessed with the opportunity to capture a remarkable image. The focal point of this image is a magnificent tusker, an inhabitant of this sacred wilderness. The temple, established within these hallowed grounds, has unintentionally led to a pressing concern: elephants being drawn to the leftovers offered by temple management and visitors.
During my visit, accompanied by the dedicated forest department team, we were disheartened by the sight of a wild elephant enticed by the remnants of human offerings. It was a poignant reminder of the challenges of coexistence between humanity and nature in this pristine sanctuary.
However, after a while, the elephant gracefully retreated from the temple precincts, seeking solace and sustenance in the serene shadows of twilight. This provided me with a unique opportunity to capture a captivating silhouette, where the majestic tusker stood as a symbol of untamed beauty against the fading daylight.
