Distribution of summer caps | Forest Fire Season at Nagarhole Tiger Reserve

Adavi Alert Foundation’s fire season commitment and involvement is nothing new, as the foundation works alongside frontline forest department staff. On 9th February 2023, 200 summer caps were distributed to camp watchers of Anechowkuru & Thithamathi ranges and to the Rapid Response team. The participants included RFO Dilip (Anechowkuru, Nagarahole Tiger Reserve), RFO (Range Forest Officer) Ashok (Thitamathi Range, Regular), DRFO Srinivas, DRFO Yogeshwari, and frontline watchers from both wildlife and regular sections. They were given these caps to use while monitoring forest fires over a three-month period. Our commitment to quality was never compromised. I am thankful to ACF Dayanand for giving me this opportunity and this initiative was part of the Protecting the lives of life savers project. Special thanks to Mallikarjun who attended the event this morning and helped us distribute the caps. We are grateful to all of the volunteers at Adavi Alert Foundation who contribute 100% of their efforts to raising funds for our projects.
