Contender of Moyar Gorge- The Real Story

The real story unfolds as follows: From a young age, after my uncle placed a 6-foot poster of a walking tiger at my grandparents’ residence, I always dreamt of capturing the perfect tiger photo once I learned photography. The truth is, during my 25-year journey in conservation, working closely with forest frontline workers inside Karnataka’s tiger reserves, I’ve had numerous unforgettable sightings in their natural habitat. Surprisingly, I had never managed to capture a tiger photo at tourist locations because I had never ventured there. Finally, after two decades of patience and dedication, I was able to capture this stunning tiger portrait, bringing to life the images that had long lived in my imagination. This remarkable shot was taken using my Nikon D850 camera and the renowned Nikon 180-400 Native F4 lens. Isn’t this a true beauty?
