Gentle Giant of Nagarahole: Bogeshwara

Another photo from the series in its natural habitat. According to discussions I’ve had with frontline workers and local tribes, this elephant has never ventured into human settlements or tourist areas for many years. It has always grazed and roamed around the Bogeshwara temple within the forests of the DB Kuppe range, near the backwaters.
